Thank you and welcome to Labor of Love Youth Development Foundation, Inc.! We're thrilled to have you join us on this exciting journey as we work towards our mission of promoting diversity and inclusivity in STEM education.
At Labor of Love, we recognize the importance of fostering student interest and engagement in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. As a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to creating opportunities and breaking down barriers for underrepresented groups in the STEM workforce.
Did you know that the composition of the STEM workforce is currently 89% white and 72% male, with only 9% being Black/African American? We believe that lack of access, exposure, influence, and information are some of the contributing factors to this disparity. That's why we are committed to providing our youth with the access and resources they need to succeed in these critical industries of the future.
